Patricia Louise (Vansickle) White

Patricia Louise “Louie” White, age 85, of Marion, passed away on December 29, 2025 at Marion General Hospital. Patricia was born to the late Samuel and Evelyn (Mattison) Vansickle in Richwood, OH., on May 18, 1940. Patricia would marry the love of her life, James E. White Sr., on March 30, 1958, in Marion, OH., and the two would be married until his passing.

Patricia Loved reading books, especially books that were about the Amish. She was crafty and loved to crochet. During the day she enjoyed watching Bob Barker on the “Price is Right.” Patricia was a woman of faith and loved attending church on Sundays. Above all Patricia wanted to spend time with her family.

Left to cherish the memory of Patricia are daughters, Connie (Ken) Pierce and Teresa (George) Knickerbocker, grandchildren Heather, Jason, Kyle (Theresa) Knickerbocker, Joshua, Wesley (Ashley)Higgins, and, Aubrey and Adam White, Missy Pierce, and Ashley Higgins,and Nicole (Branden) Dye, and great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Jenna, Hunter, Peyton, Zayden, Kyler, David, Jaelynn, Faith, Hope, Lailah, Alessandra, Vicent and Lane.

Patricia was preceded in death by, sons, James E. White Jr., Dennis White, Bobby White and Sammy White, sisters Charlotte (Roy) Dye,Shirley (Ralph) Cellar and Carol (Joe)Hatfield. 

Friends and family may call Monday, January 5, 2026, from 10am until 12pm. The Funeral Service for Patricia will start at 12pm with Pastor Denver Combs officiating. The committal service will be held at the Grand Prairie Cemetery immediately following the funeral procession.

The Family of Patricia would like to give a very special thank you to all of her caregivers throughout the years, especially Debbie Swartz, Irene Doolittle, Deanne Blair, and a very special thank you Nurse Sharon Huges as well as all the nurses in ICU qthat were involved with Patricia.  Patricia loved all of you and was very grateful for all the comfort you brought her.
