Paul E. Woodrum 93 of Marion Ohio went home to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday January 18th, 2025, surrounded by his family at DeWolfe Place.
Paul was born June 5th 1931, in Marion, Ohio to the late Homer and Jannie Mae Woodrum. On June 4th, 1951, he married Darlene Bailey and they shared 64 wonderful years of marriage together.
Paul was employed for 34 years at B.F. Goodrich, later Parker Hannifin, retiring in April 1994. Paul also built several houses around Marion County including his family home. Paul was an excellent bowler and winner of many bowling awards. He bowled in several leagues for many years with his wife Darlene. He also enjoyed playing golf. Paul enjoyed spending time with his many friends and extended family, he was always ready for a good conversation. Paul was a devoted husband and father and loved caring for his family. Committed to his faith, he attended Cornerstone Alliance Church. He will be dearly missed by his loving family.
Paul is survived by his daughter Diane (Charles) Blevins of Marion, son Daniel Woodrum of Marion, daughter Karen Woodrum of Denver, Colorado, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene Bailey Woodrum, daughter Cynthia Kay and five siblings, Carroll Woodrum, Roger Woodrum, Howard (Lloyd) Woodrum, Evelyn Freeman and Ray Woodrum.
The family would like to thank DeWolfe Place and Heartland Hospice for their care for Paul.
