Paula Jo Fultz, age 56 of Marion, passed away May 12, 2026, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Paula was born in Marion to the Late William Earl and Charlene (DeWitt) Fultz on October 29, 1969. Paula was a graduate of Harding High School and had a work history of 25 years with her last job being at Peerless Dry Cleaners.
Paula loved arts and crafts and loved being active around town. This included going to the local shows downtown and attending the outdoor events such as Third Thursdays in the summer. She loved to go on walks and often walked along the Tall Grass Trail, where she could enjoy being outdoors and one with nature. Paula was very driven and known for her determined personality. Paula was an animal lover but has had a special place in her heart for cats and loved her “Jasper” and “Holly” until the end!
Left to cherish the memory of Paula are her brothers, Larry Fultz of Rocky River, Robert (Cindy) Fultz of Bucyrus, and Michael (Amy) Fultz of Jacksonville, Fl., sister Linda Fultz of Marion, 2 nieces Terri (Rob) Gottfried, and Samantha Jo Fultz, and a host of other family members and friends.
Paula is preceded in death by parents, sister, Kathy (Roger) Rayburn and nephew Roger Lee Rayburn, II.
Friends and family are invited to the visitation of Paula on Monday May 18, 2026, from 4pm until 6pm at the Boyd Funeral Home with the funeral service starting at 6pm with Pastor Shawn Anthony officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donation be made in Paula honor to the Homeless to Homes cat Shelter in Marion. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Paula Jo Fultz in their time of mourning.
