Peggy C. (Bluew) Bryan, age 90, of Marion, passed away on January 17. 2026, at her residence. Peggy was born May 6, 1935, in Halls, Tennessee, to the late Cecil and Ruby (Richardson) Bluew. On November 20, 1950, Peggy would marry the love of her life John Bryan, in Corinth Mississippi. The two would remain married until his passing in 1988. Peggy worked as an assembler/designer for ABBOT & CO. for 30 years before retiring.
Peggy loved spending time with her family. She also loved playing Bingo with her friends, and they would travel around the area to go to different Bingo Halls to play. Peggy was a good cook and brought her southern traditions and recipes into the kitchen with her.
Left to cherish the memory of Peggy are son, David (Terry) Bryan, grandchildren, Pam, Donald, Christy, Stephine, great-grandchildren, Dustin (Alexx) and Brandon (Margaret) Brown, Karleigh and Kennedy Miller, Steven and Mya Persinger and Noah Erwin along with many great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by Parents, Husband, brothers, Ron and Ken Bluew, sisters, June McBride and Betty Bluew and granddaughter Melody.
The family would also like to give a special thanks to her loving caregiver Patty Henry.
There will be a memorial service and a graveside for Peggy at a later date.
