Peggy Lou Chipner

Peggy Lou Chipner, 80, of Marion, OH, passed away peacefully at Marion General Hospital. Peggy was born to the late Clifford E. McClarey and Ruth Ellen McClarey on December 14, 1941, in Marion. She would go on to marry her loving husband David E.A. Chipner on July 26, 1975, at the Harpster Methodist Church.

Peggy was a woman of faith and attended the Harpster Methodist Church avidly. She was employed to the General Phone Co. of Ohio, Nature’s Plant Food Company in the beginning of her working career. She would become a Marion County Deputy Sheriff before ending her work career as a legal secretary at Bob Wilson Attorney at law.

Peggy is Preceded in death by many cherished loved ones.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband David, son, Michael A. Chipner (Fiancé Brandi Brockman), her loving grandchildren; Gabriel, David, Scarlett, sisters; Joyce E. Narlock (Husband Charles), and Rebecca S. Walsh (Husband John), and many nieces and nephews.

David and the family would like to invite Peggy’s loved ones and friends to the Boyd Funeral Home on Monday May 2nd, 2022, for visitation hours 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held immediately after visitation at 1 p.m. The interment service will be held at the Marion Cemetery. Pastor Soo Hea Park will be officiating all services. The Chipner family would like to extend a special thanks to all the medical associates that helped through the years in taking care of Peggy.
