Peggy J. Rogers

Peggy J. Rogers, passed away unexpectedly from an accident on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Peggy was born on February 1, 1952 in Tennessee.  She married David Rogers and had three children, Matthew, Liz and James.

She enjoyed crocheting blankets, hats, scarves, anything for someone to have.  Also, she enjoyed making crafts.  Peggy had a big heart because she would give the “shirt off her back” to a stranger and expect nothing in return.  She was protective of all her children and grandchildren because she loved each of them.  She will be missed by her loving children and grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Rogers, her son, Matthew Rogers; her brothers and her sister.

Those who will cherish her memories include her children, Liz Rogers of Lima, Ohio and James Rogers of Lima, Ohio and all of her grandchildren from the Rogers and Mundy families.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 1:30pm at Prospect Cemetery in Prospect, Ohio with Elder James Bright officiating.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Rogers family.
