Phyllis Jean Abrams

Phyllis Jean Abrams, age 68 of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 8, 2024 at her residence.

Phyllis was born on October 27, 1955 to the late Carl and Daisy (Tackett) Holsinger in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Phyllis loved to play Bingo and hang out with her friends usually every night.  Phyllis will be missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otis Ray Abrams; her son, George Lease; her sisters: Katherine, Linda Blair, Matilda Cooper, Mary Holsinger, Donna Toland and Dolly Powell; her brothers: Robert Holsinger, Jack Holsinger, Carl Holsinger, Harold Holsinger, Roscoe Holsinger, Roy Holsinger, John Holsinger and Floyd Holsinger.

Those who will cherish her memories include her son, James (Jo Anna) Lease of Marion, Ohio; her lifelong partner, Gary Eades; her sisters: Tina Blevins of Marion, Ohio, and Dorothy Blevins of Marion, Ohio; her brother, Gary Holsinger of Lucasville, Ohio; her seven grandchildren: Kris Lease, Ranay Lease, George Lease, Jr., Brooklyn Oehlers, Christy Faunce, Kourtney Mullins and Johnathan Frazee; and her twelve great grandchildren.

Friends and family may come to honor her life from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Boyd Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow starting at 1pm at the funeral home.  A burial will follow the funeral service at Grand Prairie Cemetery. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Abrams family.
