Obituary
Raymond (Rick) Eugene Blagg, age 74 of Westerville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, at The OSU Wexner Medical Center.
Raymond was born on August 16,1949 to the late Ray and Jean (Dillow) Blagg in Ironton, Ohio. Raymond was a dedicated employee of Quaker Oats and Kellogg's and retired from Abbott Laboratories in 2013. He loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. Raymond will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters: Carolyn and Connie.
Those who will cherish his memories include his wife of 39 years, Cheryl Blagg of Westerville, Ohio; his children: Brandi Blagg of Westerville, Ohio; Jennifer (Chris) Helms of Fort Payne, Alabama; Carol Jean Turner of Tampa, Florida; and Raymond (Kim) Blagg of Springfield Ohio; his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Marion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given toward funeral expenses in care of the Boyd Funeral Home. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Blagg Family.
