Rebecca Lynn (Norris) Hughes

Rebecca Lynn Hughes, age 45, passed away peacefully at Marion General Hospital on September 26, 2024.

She was born to Carl Norris and Carol Butcher in October of 1978; she went on to get her high school diploma. She married her husband, Jerod Hughes, in March of 1997 and they went on to have two beautiful daughters together. Rebecca found joy in social functions and never knew a stranger; she was a social butterfly. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and a home maker. Whether it was online or shopping in person, she was always one to peruse sales. Rebecca liked the scene of Las Vegas and enjoyed a good game of euchre.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Stella Hughes. She leaves behind her father, Carl Norris, her mother, Carol Butcher, her sister, Kelli (Joe) Parks, her daughters, McKenzie and Savannah Hughes, her granddaughter, Everly Hughes, her nieces, Brooklyn and Kaitlyn Parks, and her nephew, Camron Parks.

There will be a gathering for friends and family at the  Knights of Columbus Hall, 1232 E Center St. Marion, Ohio 43302 October 19, 2024, from 1pm until 5pm
