Richard Hawkins Obituary

Richard A. Hawkins, age 65 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 3, 1959 in Marion to Helen (Kennard) and the late Vernon Hawkins.

Richard worked as a sales clerk for General Sales for 30 years, and he was an avid sports fan, no matter the season. He knew all the stats and the history of every sport he watched.

He is survived by his mother Helen Hawkins; his sister Joyce Burris; his brother David Hawkins; his nieces and nephews Jami Allen, Nick McQuistion, Heidi Hawkins, and David Hawkins, Jr.; and numerous great-nieces and -nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Vernon Hawkins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
