Rickie Roush

Rick Gene Roush, age 66 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Marion General Hospital. On July 22, 1955, he was born in Marion, Ohio, to the late Harry Gene and Marian (Thacker) Roush, and on June 28, 1982, he married his loving wife, Linda (Fletcher) Roush.

Rickie worked as a professional drywaller and painter for more than 30 years, and he was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. In his younger days, he enjoyed playing guitar and hunting. Above all else, he had an incredible love for life, and his friends and family will always remember what an ornery jokester he was. There was never a dull moment when he was around.

He is survived by his wife Linda Roush; his children Roger Nelson, Angela Dominy, Randy Nelson, Sherry Nelson, Bobby Zinn, and Rick Roush; his sister Vickie (Ron) Williams; his brother-in-law Dale Henneman; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Marian Roush and his sister Pamela Henneman.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10 am to 12 pm at Heritage Bible Church, 193 Marion-Williamsport Rd. E., Marion. Services will follow at 12 pm. Burial will take place at a later date at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help cover the cost of funeral expenses.
