Robert Eugene Ballinger, age 80, passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2024. He was born to the late Robert Fay and Jean Viola (Huntsman) Ballinger in November of 1944 in Richwood, Ohio. In 1962, he married his beloved wife, Joyce Ann (Wood) Ballinger, and they went on to have many children together. He worked at Tecumseh for 21 years, showing a devout work ethic. He loved the outdoors and took pleasure in camping in Logan, Ohio, visiting Tennessee, riding motorcycles, and watching his kids and grandkids race motorcross. There were a few sports teams that he enjoyed, mainly the Cleveland Browns, the OSU Buckeyes, and Cleveland Indians. He could also be seen watching Fox News frequently.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jean, his two sisters, Linda Fergeson and Debra Ball, and his daughter, Karen (Alan) Hughes.
