Robert Riley Obituary

Robert Willis Riley, age 80 of New Bloomington, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at his residence.

Bob was born on February 11, 1942 to the late Thomas and Zella Maude (Green) Riley in Hardin County, Ohio. On June 21, 1981, he married Kim Diebert in Marion, Ohio.

Bob was a machinist at Ryder-Heil Bronze for 43 years in Bucyrus, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, especially for crappies, and he was an avid coon hunter. He also enjoyed helping his wife show their Pekingese dogs. Bob will truly be missed by family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Zella (Green) Riley and a daughter, Stacy Riley.

Those who will cherish his memories include his wife of 40 years: Kim Riley of New Bloomington, Ohio; his son: Robbie Riley of Jacksonville, Florida; his daughter: Mindy Riley of North Pole, Alaska; his brothers: Bill Riley of Marion, Ohio, Chuck Riley of Baltimore, Maryland and Dick (Patty) Riley of Marion, Ohio and his seven grandchildren.

No services will be held per the wishes of Bob. Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Riley family.
