Ronald Nott

Ronald E. Nott, age 85 of Marion, died on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Marion General Hospital. Ron was born February 13, 1938 in Glouster, Ohio, to the late George W. and Violet (McCellan) Nott.

He is survived by his wife Wilda (Dicler) Nott; sister-in-law Jane (Kuhlman) Dicler; niece Shelli (Greg) (Dicler) Lust; and nephew Kevin (Michelle) Dicler, as well as great-nephews Aaron and Derek Lust and Jacob Dicler; great-niece Elizabeth Dicler; and sister Barbara Lewellen of Barberton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Bob, Bill, George, Glen, and Don Nott, as well as his sister Norma; brothers-in-law John and Harold Dicler; and great-niece Hannah Dicler.

He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BS, MS, and PhD in Education/Administration. He taught in Wood County and Hamilton, Ohio, and was an associate professor at Miami University.

His services will be observed privately by his family only, and graveside services will follow at Marion Cemetery.
