Rosella Ann Jarvis

Rosella Ann Jarvis, age 81 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at her home.

Rosella was born on November 10, 1941 to the late Ovid and Ellen (Debolt) Hildreth in Richwood, Ohio.  On February 17, 1972, she married Robert Jarvis in Marion, Ohio.

Over the years, she has enjoyed bowling, bingo, selling Avon, and an avid salt and pepper shaker collector. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Rosella was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Dowell; her two sisters: Midge and Dorothy; her five brothers: Frank, Jack, Johnny, Mike and Tom; and three great grandchildren: Matilynn Hartley, Dorian Snyder and Dranden Mitchell.

Those who will cherish her memories include her husband of 51 years, Robert Jarvis; her children: Rhonda (Harold) Snyder of Xena, Ohio, Debbie (Raymond) Cordell of Marion, Ohio, Ronald Dowell, Jr. of Xena, Ohio, Frankie Dowell of LaRue, Ohio and Troy Jarvis of Marion, Ohio; her sister, Mary Kay of Indiana; her brother, Bob (Jeanie) Hildreth of Richwood, Ohio; her 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Friends and family may come to honor Rosella’s life from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Boyd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 starting at 11am at the funeral home.  A burial will follow the funeral service at Grand Prairie Cemetery.  Donations may be given to: American Cancer Society, P.O.
