Rosemary Louise Potts

Rosemary Louise Potts, age 70 of Marion, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2022 at Marion General Hospital.

Rosemary was born on February 3, 1951 to the late Delmar C. and Thelma (James) Hickman.  On November 11, 1974, she married the late Foy O. Potts, Sr. in New Bloomington, Ohio.

Rosemary loved flowers, especially roses.  She will truly be missed by family and friends.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Foy O. Potts, Sr., her brothers: Delmar Cecil Hickman, Jr. and James Michael Hickman and her grandson: Aaron Fleming.

Those who will cherish her memories include her sons: Foy O. Potts, Jr of Morral, Ohio, Lonnie Potts of Marion, Ohio, Tobey Potts of Morral, Ohio and Darrin Potts of Morral, Ohio; her daughters: Tina Potts of Morral, Ohio, Tabitha Thomas of Cardington, Ohio, Kimmy Potts of Marion, Ohio and Melinda Thomas; her nineteen grandchildren and her fourteen great grandchildren.

Friends and family may come to honor Rosemary’s life from 11am to 1pm on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Boyd Funeral Home.  A funeral service will start at 1pm on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the funeral home with burial to follow service at Meeker Cemetery.  Donations given in Rosemary’s memory may be given in care of the Boyd Funeral Home to assist in funeral expenses.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Potts family.
