Ruth A. Lindsay

Ruth A. Lindsay, age 77, of Marion passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020, at 10:35 AM at her residence. She was born in Marion, Ohio on July 6, 1942 to the late Leroy H. and Ruth E. (Miller) James. Ruth graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1960. The lifelong Marion homemaker married Wheeler E. Lindsay on January 9, 1960 in Marion and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2008.

     Ruth is survived by a son; William Lindsay of Celina, OH. A daughter; Annita Parr of Marion, OH., two brothers; Dallas (Doris) James of Port Clinton, OH. & Jerry James of Washington Court House, OH., four grandchildren; Brandon (Erin) Wilson, Kayla (Shawn) White, Alexis & Olivia Lindsay, and three great grandchildren; Reagan, Grayson, & Kennedy.

     Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Rev. Nathan McBeth will conduct the funeral service on Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with burial to follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Ruth’s name may be made to the Am. Cancer Society, Am. Heart Association, or to the Am. Diabetes Association.
