Sharon Kay Nischwitz, 75, of Marion, OH, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, October 22, 2021. She was born the late Donald and Irene Cluff on December 31, 1945. She would marry the love of her life John Nischwitz on December 31, 1992.
Sharon worked at Honda for 23 years in the paint department painting motorcycle tanks, until she retired in 2007. She had one of the biggest hearts and always loved to help her family and friends. She was an avid angler and enjoyed teaching and fishing with her family members. When she was not on the water, she could be found reading or shopping, and she loved to shop.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, brothers; Bill (Diane) Cluff and Don (Phil) Cluff, and her sisters; Carol Crabtree and Wilda Nischwitz.
The family has invited her family and friends to visitation hours at the Boyd Funeral on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held immediately after the visitation. Rev. Nathan McBeth will be officiating the service. In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked to make donations to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association on Sharon’s behalf. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to assist with services for the Nischwitz family.
