Sharon Rife Obituary

Sharon Ann Rife, age 81 of Marion, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at DeWolfe Place. On February 24, 1942, she was born in New Bloomington, Ohio, to the late Otis Emmett and Mazie Mae Jividen, and on January 26, 1968, she married the love of her life, Carlisle “Ed” Rife, Jr.

Sharon was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family.

She is survived by her husband Carlisle “Ed” Rife, Jr.; her daughter Renee (Greg) Farlee of Caledonia; her son Carlisle “Pete” Rife, III, of Delaware; her sister Deborah Waits of Marion; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Otis and Mazie Jividen and her sister Juanita Jividen.

Per Sharon’s wishes, no services will be observed.
