Obituary
Stanley Allen Thomas, age 62 of Prospect, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 1, 2023 at his residence.
Stanley was born on August 11, 1960 to James Allen and Cora Elizabeth (Waugh) Thomas in Marion.
He loved riding motorcycles, Harley Davidson, and shooting his guns. Stanley will truly be missed by family and friends.
Stanley was preceded in death by his father, James Allen Thomas and his brother, Bryan Thomas.
Those who will cherish his memories include his sons: Bret (Ravae) Thomas of Prospect, Ohio and Connor (Danielle Holt) Thomas of Akron, Ohio; his mother, Cora Elizabeth Thomas of Marion, Ohio; his sisters: Jill (Larry) Fox of Marion, Ohio and Debbie Alexander of Prospect, Ohio; and his four grandchildren: Paisley Thomas, Gunner Thomas, Everleigh Thomas and Ryker Thomas.
Friends and family may come to honor Stanley's life from 12pm to 2pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Boyd Funeral Home. A memorial service will start at 2pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow service at Prospect Cemetery. Donations may be given in Stanley’s memory to: Marion Area Humane Society, 2264 Richland Rd, Marion, OH 43302. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Thomas family.
