Teresa (Wilson) Klingel

Teresa Jo (Wilson) Klingel, passed on the 17th of January 2022. Teresa’s daughters surrounded their beloved mother as she peacefully left this earth.

Teresa was born on the 22nd of November 1957 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Doris (Craft) and Robert Wilson. Teresa graduated from Portsmouth East in 1975 and received her bachelor’s degree from Shawnee State University.

Teresa was a loving mother and always believed in her “girls”. She devoted her time to helping her family and attending her grandkids activities. She loved watching her Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Reds, and UK Wildcats. Teresa had a passion for learning, especially about history and the British Royal Family. Teresa loved Barry Manilow, the beach, and watching crime shows. Her Catholic faith always helped her along the way.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents Doris (Craft) and Robert Wilson, her husband Michael E. Klingel, and two brothers Bill Fisher and Vincent Fisher.

Teresa is survived by her daughters, Tawnya Thompson, Portsmouth, Ohio; Rachel Clausing, Marion, Ohio; and Leanne (Benjamin) Bowdre, Mt. Gilead, Ohio; brother, Terry (Beverly) Fisher, Marion, Ohio; sister-in-law Vicki Fisher, Sanford, North Carolina. And seven grandchildren: Thomas Thompson-Friend, George “Michael” Clausing III, Joseph “J.T.” Clausing, Megan Clausing, Connor Meads, Jack Bowdre, and Lauren Bowdre.

Services for Teresa will be at Boyd Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio on Tuesday 25th of January 2022. The visiting hours are from 12 pm to 2 pm. The service will start at 2 pm with burial in Waldo, Ohio. After the burial, a celebration of life will be held at the Waldo Fire Station Community Room until 6 pm.

Teresa passed after a short battle with Leukemia and Covid. In her honor, it would be appreciated that masks be worn.
