Thomas E. Thomas

Thomas E. Thomas, age 78 of Marion, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Woodside Village in Mt. Gilead, Ohio.

Thomas was born on January 3, 1946 to the late William “Ted” and Mary (Welker) Thomas in Marion, Ohio.

He served our country in the United States Army doing two tours of Vietnam War.  After the war, he worked as a hairdresser for 40 years.  He will be missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his two infant sisters and his two brothers: Charles Thomas and Barry Thomas.

Those who will cherish his memories include his son, Steven Thomas of Marion, Ohio; his daughter, Kim Thomas of Edmond, West Virginia; his brothers: Johnny (Jean) Thomas of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Bill (Janice) Thomas of Marion, Ohio, Teddy Thomas of Marion, Ohio and Ricky (Diane) Thomas of Marion, Ohio; his two sisters: Edith Finchman of Marion, Ohio and Joy Berry of Marion, Ohio; his four grandchildren: Kristin Ross, Zach Berry, Micky Brdar and Mackenzie Brdar and his four great grandchildren: Bradley Wilson, Lila Lane and Alexander Plum and Isabella Plum.

A private family graveside will be held at a later date.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Thomas family.
