Tom worked at Marion Steel for over 20 years before retiring as a custodian for MCS after 8 years of service.
He was best known for his quick wit and making jokes. He loved to tease and clown around with family and friends, making him a joy to be with. He enjoyed music like classic rock and old country, serenading whoever wanted to listen. Tom was born a car lover and died a car lover, acquiring many over his lifetime. He loved his Chevrolets and would fiercely defend them from anybody's attack or criticism. With such a big heart, it's no wonder he loved his dogs and referred to them as his girls. But his favorite thing was his family and just enjoying the time they spent together. He attended Manna Ministries House of Prayer and loved his church family.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Trent Garner, and his father, Lloyd Garner. Besides his wife Karen, he is also survived by the mother of his children, Malia Freeman, two sons; Thomas M. (Amy) Garner, Timothy S. (Laura) Garner, and Josh (Katie) Brammer, one brother; Ted (Pam) Garner, six grandchildren; Jordan, Jackson, Saydee, Gracie, Fate, Echo, his niece; Chandra (Adam) Thompson, one great-nephew and great-niece; Liam and Presley, lastly his girls; Bella and Bailey.
