Virginia Elaine Schiller

Virginia Elaine Schiller, age 93 of Marion, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Dewolfe Place.

Virginia was born on June 6, 1931 to the late William and Rachel (Jordon) Buckley in Columbus, Ohio in a family of ten children.

She worked for Marion Power Shovel for more than 20 years as a Materials Acquisition.  She enjoyed working in her flower garden. 

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and all her brothers and sisters.

Those who will cherish her memories include her son, Chris Schiller of Marion, Ohio and many family members.

Friends and family may come to honor her life from 12pm to 1pm on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Boyd Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow starting at 1pm at the funeral home.  A burial will follow the funeral service at Grand Prairie Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in memory of Virginia to Capital City Hospice.  Please make a check out to Capital City Hospice or Hope Foundation, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive, Suite 170, Columbus, Ohio 43231.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Schiller family.
