William Joseph Chandler

William Joseph Chandler, age 52 of Marion, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his home. He was born on December 11, 1970, in Marion to the late Walter Thomas and Shirley (Fultz) Chandler.

William was well liked in the community. He was the sort of person that loved people, and people loved him. He never met a stranger and would strike up a friendly conversation with anyone. He was a Christian who attended the Marion First Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his sisters Diana (John) Boyhan and Shirley Morrison, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Shirley Chandler and his brother Walter Thomas Chandler, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 11:30 am at the Boyd Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date at Marion Cemetery.
