William "Bill" Cochran

William “Bill” Cochran, age 71 of Lansing, Michigan, formerly of Marion, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Sparrow Hospital in Michigan. He was born on August 11, 1950 in Ironton, Ohio, to the late Willis C. and Betty (Gannon) Cochran.

Bill worked for Central Soya of Marion for 40 years until his retirement in 2012.

He is survived by his sons William Cochran, Jr., of Lansing, MI, Erik Cochran of Marion, and Shane Cochran of Marion; his brothers Jim Cochran of Columbus, Willis Cochran, Jr., of Ironton, and Nicholas Klaeger of Phoenix; his sisters Christina Klaeger-Cox of Columbus and Ada Cochran of Ironton; his granddaughters Tiffany and Erica; and his great-grandchildren Addilynn, Nathaniel, and Gabriel.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willis and Betty and his brothers Robert Cochran, Joseph Klaeger, and Michael Partipilo.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 9 am at the Boyd Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
