William L. Putman

     William L. Putman, age 88, of Harpster, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 9:56 PM in the Marion General Hospital. He was born in Richwood, Ohio on March 11, 1934 to the late Howard S. and Florence L. (Harris) Putman.  On march 24, 1976, William married the former Patricia Marie Frederick in Bucyrus, Ohio and she survives in Harpster. Surviving along with his wife are a son, William Lee Putman of Upper Sandusky, OH. two daughters, Brenda (Ray) Reynolds of Tennessee & Bonnie Sue Sayre of Capillion, Nebraska, 8 grandchildren, and numerous great & great great grandchildren. William was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Frey and a grandchild.

     William was employed for a short time at Huber Manufacturing Company before becoming Owner & Operator, along with his wife, of Putman Trash Hauling for over 40 years. Friends may call at the Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 PM in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Donations in William’s name may be made to the Morral Volunteer Fire Department.
