Wilma Rose Patrick

Wilma Rose Patrick, age 83 of Marion, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Prestige Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Marysville. She was born on October 30, 1938 in Gilbert, West Virginia, to the late Glennie V. and Audrey (Cutlip) Patrick.

Wilma worked for Fulfillment Corp. for several years before retiring and spending a short time working for Marion CAN DO! She attended both of the Nazarene churches in Marion, and she was a very musical woman with a wide variety of talents. She enjoyed playing piano for her church and singing at nursing homes, and she also played the guitar and organ. She was a big fan of showtunes. Her other primary hobby was traveling, whether for business or just for herself, and she was an avid reader and player of family board games.

She is survived by her nephews Tom, Ben, John, Dan, Bobby, Richard, Jeff, Randy, and Frank; her nieces Susan, Bonnie, Karen, Kathy, Vickie, April, Lisa, Kim, and Bobbie; her sister Edie Patrick; and her sister-in-law Della.

She was preceded in death by her parents Glennie and Audrey Patrick; her brothers Vernon, Lee, and Russell; and her sisters Violet (Harold) and Frances.

A celebration of her life will be held by her family in the spring.
