Yvonne Donalee Lowe-Miles

Yvonne Donalee Lowe-Miles, age 93 of Marion, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Kingston Residence of Marion.

Yvonne was born on November 11, 1929 to the late Otis and Alberta (Nance) Martin in Ironton, Ohio.

Yvonne loved to read and cook. Her favorite thing to do was watch the Reds and the Buckeyes. In her younger years, she played the guitar, sang and played the spoons.  She was a great storyteller and would tell her stories to everyone. You could always win her over with a Frappe. She will truly be missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands: Eugene T.  Lowe and Leroy L. Miles; her sons: Dean Lowe and Max Lowe; her sister, Auretta Malone and her brother, Glendon Martin.

Those who will cherish her memories include her son, Dwight (Shelly) Lowe of Marion, Ohio; her grandchildren: Michael Lowe, Brandy Edwards, Brooks Lowe, Glenn Lowe, Amanda Mayhew, Kristen Spaulding, Brittany Beliveau, Amber Lancaster and Tyger Lowe; and her numerous great grandchildren.

Friends and family may come to honor Yvonne’s life from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Boyd Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 starting at 12pm at the funeral home with Chaplain Scott Sloan officiating.  Burial will follow service at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
